Meet Suellen.
I’m an interior designer and garden designer, working with homeowners to create homes and gardens that feel considered, coherent and genuinely great to live in. My work centres on renovations and re-thinking existing spaces — helping clients shape environments that support everyday life and invite you to slow down and enjoy being at home.
While projects may focus on either the interior or the garden, I always consider the relationship between the two. This broader perspective allows decisions about layout, light, flow and materiality to sit comfortably within the wider context of the home, resulting in spaces that feel balanced, connected and purposeful.
My approach is thoughtful and practical, grounded in how spaces are actually used. I design with an emphasis on flow, proportion and atmosphere, combining functionality with warmth and character. I’m drawn to natural materials, timeless details and spaces that feel calm rather than overworked — homes and gardens that will age well and continue to support the people who live in them.
I work closely with my clients, guiding them through key decisions and helping them see the potential in their homes with clarity and confidence. The aim is always the same: to create spaces that feel personal, enduring and quietly uplifting.
